Simple syrup in the microwave!
Ingredients.
- 1 cup water.
- 1 cup granulated sugar.
Instructions.
- In a microwave-safe bowl or measuring cup, combine the water and granulated sugar.
- Stir the mixture until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Place the bowl or cup in the microwave and heat it on high for 1 minute.
- Remove the bowl or cup from the microwave and give it a stir.
- Return it to the microwave and heat it on high for another 30 seconds.
- Stir again to ensure the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Let the syrup cool before transferring it to a clean, airtight container or bottle.
- Store the simple syrup in the refrigerator for up to one month.
